Austin Barrow
Senior Director, Development
Austin Barrow serves as Senior Director of Development at Heartland Whole Health Institute, where he works alongside senior leadership to align philanthropic vision across the broader health ecosystem. He plays a central role in shaping and leading development efforts connected to Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) and the Bentonville Health Care Campus.
Barrow brings experience spanning large‑scale redevelopment, higher education, and historic preservation. He is the founder and first employee of the Murphy Arts District in El Dorado, Arkansas. Earlier in his career, he led the Fine Arts division and served as Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Theatre at Andrew College in southern Georgia. He has also led complex preservation projects, including closing the first Historic Tax Credit deal on public lands in California.
