Erick Burgos, MBA

Erick Burgos serves as Director, Health Care Finance at Heartland Whole Health Institute. Burgos started his finance career in technology in northern California but found his passion for health care when he joined a value-based care firm in Miami, overseeing 15,000 patients across two counties. Immediately prior to joining the Institute, Burgos worked at Walmart Health and Wellness team as the Director of Finance, where he launched and reported on fee-for-service and Medicare Advantage plans.

Burgos holds a bachelor of business administration in finance from Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration from Penn State University.
