Program Coordinator, Digital and Informatics

Sal Tygret is a Program Coordinator supporting the Digital & Informatics team at Heartland Whole Health Institute, where she contributes to cross-functional efforts advancing whole-person health. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

Sal is a U.S. Army veteran with more than 15 years of service, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Throughout her military career, she led teams, managed complex responsibilities, and adapted quickly to new missions and environments, building a strong foundation in leadership, operations, and supporting people through change.

Following her military service, Sal worked alongside nonprofit organizations focused on holistic health and wellness for active-duty service members and veterans. She supported program coordination and collaborative initiatives designed to create meaningful, lasting outcomes. This work reinforced her belief that when teams are aligned around a shared mission, meaningful impact is inevitable.

Across all roles, Sal is driven by people, purpose, and collaboration. She values building lasting relationships and supporting teams in ways that allow organizations — and the people within them — to do their best work.
