Tara Ferkel

Tara Ferkel, MA, is a health communications professional, passionate about telling stories that move health forward. At Heartland Whole Health Institute, Ferkel serves as Health Communication Manager developing and executing strategic communications for current and developing health initiatives on the Crystal Bridges Campus and beyond. Before joining the Institute, Ferkel worked in roles spanning higher education, state government, and local news. Most recently, Ferkel was at Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, where she managed the marketing content and digital asset creation. Ferkel holds a master’s degree in health communication from the University of Arkansas.
